And so it has begun...

So I've made the plunge. I've started this blog to discuss my experiences in this journey of an idea into a viable product and hopefully a lasting business. If this is the one and only post on this blog congratulations! You may very well be experiencing the beginning of a future product line that will soon occupy the shelves of a store near you, or utter failure in which case I hope you can learn from my experiences.

In full disclaimer, because this idea has not come to fruition as of yet, I will not fully describe or show images of these ideas until it they are ready to be released (I do hope you will be one of the first purchasers of this idea). How or why would you purchase an idea you might ask? I'll get to that later. For now, bear with my loose descriptions of this idea, it's basis will be well described, but details will come later.

Beyond this idea I hope to continue this blog with other updates on design and architecture. Two things that are of great interest to me and have heavily influenced this idea. I wish to discuss these things on terms that are not so heavily based within theoretical ideas about design but for everyone to understand and hopefully learn. Not everyone is an expert in these fields, or have a design background, but design effects is an integral part of our daily lives, and as more businesses/start ups are beginning to learn, crucial to creating new innovative products that capture peoples' attention.

Another disclaimer: I personally would not consider myself an expert, just someone with a background in architecture and great interest in the field and design. Writing, blogging, discussing these thoughts of mine, are new experiences as well for me. I accept and encourage discussion and comments.
